Caitlin Clark Under 21.5 points (-113)
Since returning from the Olympic break, Clark has scored 23 or more points in all three of her games. During that same span, she recorded at least eight assists and five rebounds in each contest. It’s been a fantastic run for her and while we think the rebounding and assist numbers will stay up tonight, she’s finally going to revert to her normal average when it comes to scoring.
Before this current stretch, during which Clark scored at least 20 points in four consecutive games, she’d never accomplished that feat more than twice in a row. She’s faced the Dream twice this season and had very little success. She scored just seven points in the first meeting, then 16 points in their second matchup. The Dream don’t have a good record, but they’re allowing the fifth-fewest points in the league. The Fever will win, but Clark will score 20 points or less.
Sabrina Ionescu Over 5.5 assists (+110)
How is the price for this prop this good? Ionescu is averaging 5.9 assists per game, and in their two games against the Mercury, she recorded 17 total assists and at least eight in each contest. She has recorded just three assists in each of her last two games, and five or fewer in ten of her last twelve. Yet at this price, we have to take the over.
The Mercury are allowing the third-most assists per game this season, as well as an average of 84.3 points per game. Meanwhile, the Liberty average the second-most points per game. There’s a good chance the Liberty get into the 90s for the second time this season against the Mercury. If that happens, Ionescu may hit double digits.
Ariel Atkins Over 15.5 points (+104)
Here’s another really good price for a prop that should be set at the standard -114. Atkins is averaging 15.8 points per game this season, although in four of her last five games, she scored 15 points or fewer. However, in the one game where she went over 15, she scored 25 points against the same Storm team she’s facing tonight.
Atkins has faced the Storm three times this season. She had a terrible two-point performance in one of them, but in her other two games, she went over her season average. The Storm are the fourth-best defensive team in the league, so scoring may be tough for the Mystics tonight, but Atkins has proven her scoring ability against this team twice. She won’t replicate what she did last week, but she’s going to come pretty close.
