The Leagues Cup is upon us, and the opening clash will feature Inter Miami, with all its newly acquired star power, including Lionel Messi, facing off against Cruz Azul. ‘Messi-led MLS have advantage’

Another prominent team, América, will make its debut in the competition next week. On Thursday 27 July, they will take on St. Louis City, followed by a meeting with the Columbus Crew four days later. Jonathan dos Santos, who played for the LA Galaxy in the MLS for five years, possesses valuable insights into the league, and he shared his thoughts on this unique tournament.

“I’m delighted; this is beneficial for both Liga MX and MLS. It’s a wonderful opportunity for the two countries to come together.
